รับสมัครสอบคัดเลือกทุนการศึกษา ธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย

ขณะนี้ธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย (แบงค์ชาติ) กำลังประกาศ รับสมัครสอบคัดเลือกทุนการศึกษา ธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย โดยเป็นทุนสำหรับบุคคลภายนอกที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในมหาวิทยาลัย หรือสถาบันการศึกษาที่เทียบเท่าในต่างประเทศ ในสาขาวิชาทีหายาก (ทุนสาขาวิชาที่หายาก) ประจำปี 2552 เพื่อศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอก และปริญญาโท ณ ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกาและอังกฤษ ในสถานศึกษาตามรายชื่อที่ ธปท. กำหนดจำนวน 4 ทุนดังนี้

- ปริญญาเอก สาขาเศรษฐมิติ (Econometrics) หรือ Macroeconomic Modeling หรือเศรษฐศาสตร์ที่ศึกษาและทำวิทยานิพนธ์ (Dissertation) ในหัวข้อเกี่ยวกับเศรษฐมิติ (Econometrics) หรือ Macroeconomic Modeling จำนวน 1 ทุน

- ปริญญาโท สาขาเศรษฐมิติ (Econometrics) หรือสาขาวิชาอื่นที่เทียบเคียงกันได้ จำนวน 1 ทุน

- ปริญญาโท สาขา Quantitative Finance / Mathematical Economics หรือสาขาวิชาอื่นๆ ที่เทียบเคียงกันได้จำนวน 2 ทุน

outstanding Thai-citizen students who receive an offer to study in 2009 or are currently studying for

A  PhD  in the areas of Econometrics or Macroeconomic Modeling, or studying Economics and writing a dissertation on a topic pertaining Econometrics or Macroeconomic Modeling

A Master’s degree in the areas of Econometrics , Quantitative Finance, Mathematical    Economics or any other equivalent areas

Screening and Interview :
Application form and any relevant documents will be screened by Human Resources Department, BOT.
Candidates who pass the first screening will take the personality inventory test and the work values inventory test online and be interviewed through web-cam on the internet. The date and time will be informed directly to each candidate by an e-mail. If candidates are back to visit home in Thailand or are currently in Thailand, the personality inventory test, the work values inventory test, and the interview will be held at the BOT’s headquarters in Thailand.
Rules and Regulations :

The scholarship covers expenses including only tuition fees and monthly allowance (housing allowance,
health insurance and etc.) which is the same as other BOT scholarships granted for scholars to study in the USA and UK.

After graduation, scholars have to take a 4-month internship at the BOT before being placed to work
for the BOT.

After the internship, scholars are bonded to work for the BOT, as a type of scholarship reimbursement, which lasts twice as much as the total length of time they receive the scholarship. Please note that the 4-month internship will not be counted as part of the reimbursement.
